Lillia – Post-Installation Guide

Now that your theme has been installed, the instructions below will help you replace the demo content with your own and customize it to make it your own.

“Coming Soon” Page

If you want to enable a simple “Coming Soon” page that matches the theme, follow these steps:

Go to Plugins > Add New Plugin > search for the “CMP – Coming Soon & Maintenance Plugin by NiteoThemes” plugin > install & activate it.
Go to CMP Settings (from the left column) > CMP Basic Setup > check “Enabled” under CMP Status > click on “Save All Changes”.
Click on the “Content” tab from the top of the page:
- Check “Disabled” under Logo Setup
- Add “Coming Soon” (or your blog title) to the Heading field under Main Content
- Select “Solid Color” and use this color: #FAF6EF under Graphic Background
Click on the “Customize” tab from the top of the page > use #000000 for “Font Color” under Customize Colors
Click on the “Custom CSS” tab from the top of the page > paste the code below inside the Enter Custom CSS box:

And you’re done! You’ll still see your home page when you view your blog, but if you want to preview the “Coming Soon” page, hover over “Coming Soon Mode” in the top right corner of the page > click on “CMP Preview”.

Disable the “Coming Soon” Page

To disable the page, go to Plugins > Installed Plugins > deactivate and delete the “CMP – Coming Soon & Maintenance Plugin by NiteoThemes” plugin.

Block Collection/Design Library

You can drop a full layout design into any page or mix and match to create your own with the Block Collection. Click here for instructions.

Customize the theme (fonts, colors, header)

Kadence offers a ton of customizations, all from the customizer.

Site title/logo and navigation menus

To edit the site title/tagline or add a logo image, click here for instructions.

Replace the demo content with your own

Where to edit the theme’s custom pages?

Go to your WordPress dashboard > Pages (from the left sidebar) > hover over the title of the page you want to edit and click on “Edit” to open it in the editor.

If you have a lot of pages and some titles are repeated, click on “View” to check if it’s an old page. If it’s an old one, you can delete it or rename it and make it a draft (only if you don’t want to use it but don’t want to delete it either).

Replace the videos with images

The About and Services pages display videos instead of images. You can upload your own videos or you can replace them with images. Click here for instructions.

How to edit the featured boxes?

Click here for instructions. The theme has several different layouts for the featured boxes and they’re set up differently.

Where to edit the sidebar blocks?

Go to your WordPress dashboard > Appearance > Widgets > expand “Sidebar 1”. Click here for instructions.

Where to edit the Instagram feed block?

Go to your WordPress dashboard > Appearance > Widgets > expand “Footer 1”. Click here for instructions.

The Lillia theme has a slider (used in Home option #3) with several layout options. Click here for instructions.

Delete the demo content

Click here for instructions on how to delete the demo posts, sample category and demo images. I also recommend deleting any pages you’re not using – you can always add the entire page design or a specific section later on with the Design Library, so deleting the page doesn’t mean the layout is lost.
